1. The Passover lamb was to be without a blemish. (Exo. 12:5) Jesus was without a blemish. (I Pet. 1:19)

3. The Israelites were to keep the Passover as a reminder of their deliverance and the power of God. (Exo. 13:8-9,16) We are to keep the Lord's Supper as a reminder of the sacrifice made on our behalf which brought about our deliverance. (I Cor. 11:23-26)
B. The Israelites were delivered from their bondage in Egypt. Christians are those who have been delivered from their bondage to sin.
1. God sent Moses to deliver the Israelites. (Exo. 3:10) God sent Jesus to deliver sinners out their bondage. (John 3:16)
2. God used miracles through Moses to prove the message. (Exo. 4:2-5,6-8) Jesus did signs and wonders so that people might believe. (John 20:30,31)
3. God required the people to believe Moses' message. (Exo. 4:30-31) God requires that people believe in Jesus Christ and His message. (John 8:24)
4. God required the Israelites to follow Moses and, as a result, they were baptized into Moses. (I Cor. 10:1,2; cf. 14:21-22) God requires that people follow Jesus Christ and be baptized into Him. (Gal. 3:26-27)
C. The Israelites were shown as a purchased possession. (Exo. 15:16) The church is also a purchased possession. (Acts 20:28)
CONCLUSION.
A. God has delivered Israel from the Egyptian bondage. In the next lesson, we will see that God established a Law for His people and how some of that Law was a shadow of what we have today.
B. Just as Israel was delivered from bondage, so can you be delivered from your bondage to sin if you have not yet obeyed the Gospel's call. Jesus paid the price so that you could be set free. Please make the decision to obey what God requires of you so that you can be set free.
C. If you are a Christian, please continue to benefit from the lessons seen in the first part of Exodus. Just as God expected His people to obey Him back then, so does He expect us to obey Him today. You have been set free. Please continue to live your life according.
